Island Volunteer Caregivers
Who We Are
IVC promotes the health, well-being, dignity and independence of the elderly, disabled and those in need by providing one-on-one relationships with trusted volunteers from our community.
IVC volunteers provide the following:
Transportation to doctor's appointments
Transportation to social and recreational activities
Companionship
Light Household Chores
Light Yardwork
Errands
Spirit Lifting Activities (such as going to a museum, or concert)
All of our services are provided free of charge, and we assist people of all ages and incomes.
What We Do
Island Volunteer Caregivers connects people wanting to serve with the elderly, disabled or others requiring support so they can maintain their dignity, their independence and quality of life.
