About Kitsap Community Resources
Kitsap Community Resources (KCR) is a Community Action Agency that has been an integral part of the Kitsap community for over 55 years. We have seen many changes and we continue to evolve to meet the needs and demands of the people whom we serve.
Mission
Kitsap Community Resources is committed to creating hope and opportunity for low-income Kitsap County residents by providing resources that promote self-sufficiency and stability.
Vision
We envision a community in which everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
About the Community Needs Assessment (CNA)
A comprehensive community assessment is completed by KCR every three years. It is designed to highlight the gaps in service, programs and/or policy in our county, specifically as they pertain to the community members that need these services the most. It also helps to inform and guide KCR’s strategic plan.
Our hope is that the needs assessment will serve as an educational piece for agencies throughout Kitsap to better understand the challenging issues our community faces and ultimately aid in creating effective solutions.
