Join the American Red Cross, Service to the Armed Forces Program at the Naval Hospital Bremerton. We are looking for a volunteer who is passionate about serving the military community and has program management, volunteer management experience, or a desire to learn.
Responsibilities include:
- Willingness to support the Red Cross mission.
- Manage and serve in advisory capacity.
- Promoting Red Cross programs and activities at Naval Hospital Bremerton
- Recruiting and assigning volunteers to meet the needs of the Military Treatment Facility
- Coordinate and schedule required volunteer training
- Liaise with military authorities on installation disaster preparedness and response
- Maintaining volunteer records; reporting and tracking volunteer hours
- Overseeing volunteer recognition events
- Attending a variety of volunteer and installation meetings
Training will be provided.
