The Lord's Neighborhood Diner is looking for a kitchen manager. This is a volunteer position which requires about 4 - 8 hours a week. The duties are to coordinate the food for meals by: ordering food though Northwest Harvest via the internet/phone; picking up food from the Bremerton Food Bank; develop a menu for the volunteers to cook; moving food from the freezer to the fridge; keeping an inventory of food including date received.
You will not be working alone. We have a small but dedicated volunteer base to ensure no one is unsupported. We will provide hands-on training and make sure that this opportunity to serve your community is a rich and satisfying experience for who ever decides to accept this challenge.
