What We Do

Kitsap Homes of Compassion operates 25 home , and has 100 rooms that are rented at an affordable rate to those that have an income and are at risk or experiencing homelessness.  The people we help often times have nothing butbthe cloths they wear. Through donations and community support we furnish the homes for our tenants.

For those that don't qualify or are waiting. We offer case management and have housing specialists and Peer Supports to assist them in finding suitable housing of there choice.

We provide survival gear and essentials to the homeless as well as work towards removing barriers to housing such as move in costs, and back rent.

We also have a Mental Health Provider who offer services to our clients that might be struggling with transitioning or managing there memtal health or just need support.

Kitsap Homes of Compassion also advocates for the creation of more affordable housing inventory of all types. It encourages research into creative approaches to find viable, sustainable, healthy, safe, permanent solutions to housing people with lower income. It also encourages research in best practices for independent living for resilient populations
