Who We Are

The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art serves as a cultural campus with daily activities focused on the arts:

  • Promoting and preserving the finest examples of local and regional contemporary art and craft;
  • Presenting a regular rotation of borrowed artworks and exhibits;
  • Creating educational opportunities for all ages and skill levels;
  • Collaborating with regional community groups; including the Bainbridge Island School District, the Kids Discovery Museum (KiDiMu), local art galleries and other museums and cultural groups in Kitsap County, The Olympic Peninsulas the greater Puget Sound.

What We Do

The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art is an educational institution whose mission is to engage a diverse population with the art and craft of our region and our time. We opened June 2013.
