Plant Invaders Right At The Edge of Shore!!!
ARGH! The invaders have come creeping into our lovely county park in Seabeck on the Hood Canal. Maties one and all - help us make the uninvited guests walk the plank! Nick's Lagoon is the scene of some underhanded schemes to overtake our natural and native friends. Do you have what it takes to do away with dastardly PIRATES in the guise of scotch broom, ivy and other sordid types? Parking is limited, so try to carpool if possible. Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves and pants, work gloves, hat, sun and insect lotion. If bringing tools (clippers, etc.) - mark them with your name.
Meet at the Seabeck Marina at 9:00am to carpool to location.
