Volunteer: Resource CuratorNorthwest Hospitality (NWH) curates a list of resources available to unhoused neighbors and others with unstable housing. This list is shared publicly on our website and also used to print hardcopies of local resource lists for distribution with hygiene kits in projects with groups throughout Washington state. As we grow the list we can better serve our neighbors here in Kitsap and around Washington. Resource Curators will have access to NWH's online database of resources which populates both the online tool and is used to generate the local print versions by county. Resouce Curators will check existing entries for errors/updates, fill in gaps in the resource categories for all of the counties throughout Washington State, and search for opportunities to include new resources and categories in our resource tools. This volunteer opportunity is entirely remote and very low-pressure. It would be excellent for anybody who is interested in going into social services as it will help you familiarize yourself with the resources available to people in our state.
