The Food Project operates across the US, including local communities like Gig Harbor, Issaquah, and Thurston County. Facilitated by Bremerton Foodline (BFL), specific items are requested each month, ensuring the community gets exactly what it needs. This allows Food Project partners to regularly donate without guessing what is needed, keeping our shelves full. Imagine 10 neighborhoods growing to 20, then 75, and beyond! This program can provide thousands of pounds of necessary food and products efficiently and effectively, building community by sharing food throughout Kitsap County.
As a volunteer, you'll help us on the designated neighborhood drop-off days, receive collected items as Neighborhood Captains pull through anytime between 9:30am-1:30am. The designated days include:
- February 8
- April 12
- June 14
- August 9
If you're able to commit to any or all of these dates, please indicate with days to which you can commit. Thank you!
