Who We Are

Teen Council is Planned Parenthood's award winning peer education program. Offering friendship, public speaking skills, hours of volunteer services, and more! Teen Council members meet weekly to become experts on all things sexual health wellness. A few of the topics you might see TC members teaching about are birth control, sexually transmitted infections, consent, abstinence, relationships, and gender & sexuality. In addition to teaching, Teen Council members participate in Teen Lobby Day to let their elected officials know how they can be great allies on issues that matter to young people.

If you are going into 10th, 11th, or 12th grade next year and live in Kitsap county, this program is for you! Participating in Teen Council looks great on job, college, and/or scholarship applications as an example of tremendous leadership and task management. Applications are currently open for the 2018-2019 school year here!
