Who We Are

Since 1937, United Way of Kitsap County has been investing in our community. Understanding the gravity and interconnectedness of the social challenges we face. Building partnerships, leveraging resources, empowering a community, and building long-term solutions. We all have a stake. When a child succeeds in school, when families & individuals are safe, healthy and jobs are available, when we invest in collaborations and work that helps break the cycle of inter-generational poverty, we all win. One key piece of this work, is as a lead partner in Kitsap, a community impact initiative focused on preventing and mitigating Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Improving the well-being and educational attainment of Kitsap residents, through a focus on empowerment and equity, the prevention of ACEs, and the building of resilience. We win by Living United. By forging unlikely partnerships. By finding new solutions to old problems. By mobilizing the best resources, and by inspiring you to join with us as we fight for what matters. Because change doesn’t happen alone. We have one life. To live better, we must Live United!
