Who We Are
Our museum is located in downtown Bremerton. We provide tours of our permanent exhibits: Old Main Street; Kitsap County Timeline; and Arts & Crafts: Homemade in Kitsap on First Fridays and to school groups. Our programs include: a Lecture Series, Kid's Korner Workshops, Eat Your Way through Kitsap History and Old Mill Town Christmas celebration. We offer research services for those requesting information on the local area. the Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The First Friday of the month is free from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
What We Do
The mission of the Kitsap County Historical Society and Museum is to collect, preserve and exhibit the diverse culture, heritage and history of Kitsap County for the education and enjoyment of the public.
